Dozens of army deserters ‘gunned down’ #Damascus
BBC and other news media report that a massacre happened in Syria:
Activist groups said more than 70 defectors were gunned down in the north-western Idlib province.
In total, the death toll for Monday would exceed 110 – which makes the day the bloodiest day in the uprising.

Update: Spiegel Online reports that more than 220 deserters have been killed by artillery shelling and more than 40 civilians have been reportely killed.
Bloodshed in #Syria Continues
Despite diplomatic efforts by the Arabic League, the bloodshed in Syria continues: 21 people have been killed on Sunday, including 15 civilians.
