Data Vault Modelling
Due to some project requirements, I’m reading a lot about the Data Vault model by Dan Linsted. It is totally different to the star schema or snowflake schema introduced by Ralph Kimball or Bill Inmon.
Symbolic Sounds
Sounds effect people’s actions. Some sounds sooth while others irritate. A major chord is pleasing to the ear while a dominant 7th chord demands the chord’s progression to the tonic. Our ears have become accustomed to expecting various chord progressions.

Displays of Portraits
When it comes to nonviolent action there are many techniques but one of the more effective methods is the use of portraits. This can be particularity good in the event of honoring someone who was a martyr or someone who has been injured or imprisoned during the course of the nonviolent protests. This can be a powerful psychological motivator and really stir up the crowds emotions as well as reaching the emotions of the opposing forces.

New Signs and Names
Changing the symbolism of a culture by using new signs and names to define it has great impact. There are a variety of types of non-violent protest, but all of them have this at the root of how they motivate changes. Symbolism has long been understood to be the art of using identity to create empathy through propaganda, nationalism, journalism, patriotism, or the reversal of these. Overall the possibilities for using these methods are almost endless. The most effective symbolic and non-violent protests must redefine the national behavior, so that social changes will take effect.

Delivery of symbolic objects makes a specific point to someone in a position to act. It can be a gentle reminder of an unkept promise or a graphic illustration of conditions that need to be changed. Using hundreds or even thousands of a given symbol turns a spotlight on situations that are being ignored.

In the pursuit of gaining the ears of officials, either elected or in the private sector, many fail to use the viable tactic of taunting officials. This means of nonviolent protest is not something that has entered into the public discourse and political sector within the last few decades. Religious Processions
Religious procession is a procession that is led by religious leaders. Usually there are relics or other religious items and religious symbols carried prominently in the procession. A procession is a group of people who follow a designated path, usually through local streets, to a common ending point. The ending point is usually not significant to the cause being supported by the religious procession. Many religions include specific guidelines for various types of processions in their rites.
