Despite diplomatic efforts by the Arabic League, the bloodshed in Syria continues: 21 people have been killed on Sunday, including 15 civilians.
Syria got 48 more hours to sign a deal with the AL to allow observers into the country, something that they have promised earlier:
The Arab League has given Syria until Wednesday to sign a protocol to allow observers into the country, or else it will likely turn to the UN Security Council for action to try to end the deadly violence against regime opponents.
When they accepted the monitors last time, they placed additional conditions afterwards. So let’s see what the jerks in Damascus introduce to slow down the peace process (if there is any acceptable “peace” in Syria other than overthrowing Assad’s system).
